As a multifaceted marketing,
advertising, and promotions professional and manager, Rob LaBorde, both individually and through his New York City based company,
Branding Global Inc., has initiated and executed successful marketing campaigns in the entertainment and consumer products
industries, from urban audiences to international markets.
Former Program
Director of "Townz Soundz Radio" on New York's Party 105.3, current Marketing Director for "Straight Stuntin'",
one of the largest urban men's magazine, and Executive Producer and Director for "Latino Pride", a commercial series
that airs nationally on My 9 and FOX 5 TV networks during the National Puerto Rican Day parade, LaBorde proves his expertise
in all aspects of media, from radio to print to television and has fostered close relationships with media personalities and
entertainers nationally and internationally.
Another role Mr. LaBorde successfully
fulfills is as management for media personality Dee Vazquez, where he has orchestrated Dee's rise from a guest host on several
nationally distributed television shows on the Telemundo/NBC Network, Mun2, to her current position as co-host to one of the
most influential DJ's in music, DJ Kay Slay, both on the country's most important terrestrial radio station for Hip-hop and
R&B, New York City's Hot 97, and on Sirius/XM Satellite radio.
In between
that journey, he has overseen her role as a television host on the nationally distributed FUSE Network, and developed her
persona by selectively having her host and make appearances at numerous music industry events, charities, and print media
functions nationally. He has also pitched and negotiated placements for Dee in numerous ad/promotional
campaigns for energy drinks, clothing lines, jewelry companies and watch companies.
LaBorde was
also a part of multi-platinum recording artist N.O.R.E's team, and through LaBorde's own vinyl label, Townz Soundz Marketing
and Distribution Co., he assisted N.O.R.E's transition from American rapper to Internationally known Reggaeton collaborator. As
the marketing mastermind behind N.O.R.E's biggest Reggaeton collaboration, LaBorde introduced the rapper to the idea of crossing
over into a Reggaeton market and oversaw the artistic collaboration between N.O.R.E and Daddy Yankee.
With a solid
Rolodex of reputable radio DJ's and promoters Mr. LaBorde was able to initiate a radio promotions campaign and get what soon
became a hit record played on New York radio, the nation's hardest market to break a record. Only
after he sole handedly created a buzz in the New York market, did N.O.R.E's label, Def Jam, begin to follow this lead. Rob
LaBorde continues to maintain a multitude of dynamic relationships in both the Reggaeton/Latin and Hip-hop markets.
As a marketing
professional he has sold numerous advertising and promotional spots for radio stations in the Tri-State area and has delved
into the Wines and Spirits business, professionally marketing and negotiating with liquor distributors and retailers for independent
liquor brands.
Known as a
one-man powerhouse who is efficient in outsourcing as well as being creatively resourceful, LaBorde's only objective is to
